There are so many images of a broken Thailand on the net. So I wanted to put something here that showed the reason why so many of us return year after year to one of the most beautiful places on earth, with some of the nicest people too. Don't think I am underestimating what went on here over the end of the year of 2004, but I want people to remember it is still a wonderful place and that they should return and support the area again.

Whilst we were here I kept thinking I would be offered a volka martini - shaken not stirred of course! But no such luck. But then we also were not forced to fight a duel with the villian either. Ten points if you can remember his name - answers on a postcard only.
