numbed by paracetamol & binaural beats

He got it first. This flu-ey virus that has enveloped our week in a steaming mist, emanating from wash-cloths limp on our foreheads.
We watched continuous re-runs of the Simpsons dizzily, both a little stressed that work deadlines are piling-up while we're indisposed. Funny though, Tan Tock Seng immediately gave him a 4 day MC, and because my company uses Raffles - I went for my check up there, and I got 2 days. Hmm. Whatever.
Amused, I watched my temperature ripple from 37.5 to 39.9 within an hour and on loop. Worried that my brain will fry I took quick intolerably cold showers. And when I couldn't sleep, cause I couldn't breathe - i tried a binauralbeat app that promises to clear my nasal cavities.
What do you know, it works! BUT... sadly, only for the duration that I have it playing. The minute I unplugged my earphones i couldn't breathe again. Haha.
For those who are curious, the iPhone app is called Ambi Science. It claims to have 100 beats & tones, haven't completely explored it - although there is one i would like to try: it says it induces the growth hormone. Really? Make me taller? (more musings on this in my next blog entry).
