    I've not found a definitive recipe for Gado Gado so I just tried this combination. Potato slices, fried aubergine, green beans, tempeh, raw scallions, raw tomato wedges...and the peanut sauce.

    Potato Cakes (mashed potato, oatmeal, salt, margarine), stir-fried tempeh, carrot, red and green capsicum. Tahini sauce, brown sauce (my favourite is Tonkatsu from Japan) added later.

    Brown long grain rice (Italy, organic), tempeh, red capsicum, tempeh and carrot with tahini dressing, cucumber and fresh herbs in soya yoghurt.

    Potatoes (home grown, not big due to low rainfall this year), spinach (home grown), red capsicum, squash and onions sauteed in olive oil - what else?

    Bar-B-Q tempeh, it comes already flavoured. Cherry tomatoes, mushrooms served on Norlander bread (a German rye / wheat bread but made locally)

    I really like using a wok - it always gives good results. The tempeh was stir-fried first, removed, and then the vegetables were given the hot treatment.
