    Half-time and a short break.

Upon returning from this quick breather I noticed two things: First, the camera battery ran out of breath. Second, I'd left the backup battery in my jacket. That's just about the only thing that will keep me from taking pictures :-p

Overview of the studio. I appeared to be the only one taking pictures, but none of the crew seemed interested in taking my camera away. I don't think that was because they didn't notice. At six foot four it's damn near impossible to be discrete about anything at all.

    Getting started.

Red wing on the left, blue wing on the right, teamed evenly male against female for a battle of wits or lack thereof.
Just left of center is Kari Slåttsveen, one of my absolute all time favourites from radio. She can turn the most serious topics into longwinded nonsense in ways that any politician or poet or even I can only dream of.

Curse on me for being too coward to ask for her autograph.

Properly seated, we're first taken through a bit of warming up to ensure that we are an actually live studio audience and not a bunch of conveniently placed crash test dummies. Then there's applause lessons and a crash course in spontanous laughter - it is fun, honest - so that we know when to be noisy and when not to be, unless we wanna.

That guy gotta expand his reportoire somewhat though. He had exactly the same routine when we were there two years ago. And he's not out of focus; he really is that blurred ;)
