A duckbilled invasion of Sandvika on an otherwise innocent Saturday afternoon. Although some of the less energetic invaders preferred to watch the proceedings from the sidelines. They had probably seen this movie before. Hey, girls, would you pass me the popcorn? Please?

There must have been about two hundred or so of them, filling this bit of the river to the brim and then some, and no way did I ever have a chance at taking one picture with all of them in it. I've never seen so many ducks gathered in one place before, except perhaps on Animal Planet or National Geographic Channel, but then usually Sir David Attenborough is appearing alongside them.
