This is the Third Picture I've Edited.
This is fun!! I love Stained Glass, so, pardon me if I "over" do some.. I try not to. heheee.. Look it from afar, you'll see it better the flower.
This is a picture of a rose taken about a month ago.

simon, it is not only fun but addicting. i look forward to seeing more of your work.
a word from someone who has been addicted. keep a notebook of how you did things. if only in a short version. i could not recreate half of what i did last year. and have about 3 digital editing programs that i use.

I'll stick to this program for the moment. I am getting a little better with it now. I like the Stained Glass thingy, but I try not to over kill by doing too many of it... hahahaah.. Thanks for you advise. Point taken.
I can understand when you say that it is addictive too.. heehee...

if you ever have a photo that is, shall we say, a little bit blurred...the stained glass effect works wonders!

Hmmm, I think that is a very good idea. I guess it works very well this way as long it has a nice effect and looks good too.. heehee.. This picture I took apparently is nice and clear. I'll put it up the next time round.

i tried to look at it from afar. yeah it's a flower nga. =) tri to take some photos of flowers far. without zoom or macro mode (if you're using digicam) then use the stained glass filter or effect. try to use MS paint, corell 11 and the photoshop CS or CS2. killer combo. =)

Yes indeed it is a beautiful rose picture that I took from a friend's home. Hmmm, i don't have anymore other picture edited programs. It is very expensive for me to get it in Australia. All the original are very expensive to get... sigh... But I was lucky enuff to have the Corel 11. Phew... Thank you for your tip. Hmmm, if the flowers are small, then the Stained Glass can't really capture this kind of effect... that was why I had one this big, so that you could see the flower too.. if not, it will just look like a plain ball thingy.. heehee... ;P

opps... sorry. i was teaching the wrong technique in a wrong subject. I feel you man. softwares are sooooo expensive. that's why there is bit torrent. try to find them using that program. =)
