we did get most of the major jobs done before the baby turned up. things have been considerably slower since. however we did take advantage of paternity leave coinciding with a visit from the inlaws to get started on the shed. it's now got roof, one wall, one window and most of a floor... all timbers are salvaged and the window is half a sash we souvenired from someone's garden so this should reduce our wood/junk pile some.
