Testing Telstra's new SMS to GPS co-ords service 1/2
This is where Telstra thought I was. (K700i mobile is pictured - so, no, it's not a true phlog pic ;-)
Background info: If you have a *GSM* (not CDMA) phone with Telstra, SMS the word "Test" to 171 5678 and you will get some GPS data sent to you, along with a street address if it can find it.

Yes, it will be a Premium Rate Service when it is launched. It's currently costing AUD0.25 (~USD0.19 or GBP0.10) per message. The final service will be AUD2.00 (USD1.74 or GBP0.80) per message.
