Chris is outta here (kind of).
A lunch with a few of the team to celebrate Chris's 40th birthday and four months(!) long service leave. Not a bad break.

Two hours and counting. Beam me up, Scotty.
This lift advertisement makes me want to run home, grab the DSLR and get snapping.
Trying to get a reflection-free shot through the glass.
Meeting room on Level 35 at 52 Martin Place. Looking north towards the bridge and harbour.
They have changed the interface used for the in-lift displays at work. Prettier (IMHO) weather icons and now there is a photo to accompany each news story. Much more interesting.
At the end of this corridor is a meeting I don't really want to go to. The exit sign will take me (via 13 floors of stairs) to a street full of coffee shops and fresh air.

The company who maintains our tanks has been good enough to replace them each time - an expensive exercise, I'm sure.
One of our newer head office locations has this data centre/comms room on the third floor in between meeting rooms and normal office space.
Instead of hiding away 100 square metres of geek space, the've put the whole thing behind double layers of glass and whacked in funky neon lighting.
Certainly makes an impression when you walk out of the lift.
