something french,i think..
this is a "singit" phlog inspired by my two phlogger-friends;)
since summer (uhuh) is about to officially end-am posting this dish which is more commonly served during this season here in japan.
obviously, ive learned something from my japanese cooking class :) hehehe
at the booth, you pay 100 yen, get the bowl with the cold tsuyu, put some cherries (the red ones), orange together with other garnishing such as grated ginger, onion etc and then pick the flowing soumen noodles from the bamboo conveyor. it's kind of weird but it taste great! am not sure if it's just a " gimmick" or promotional blitz for the summer.but what am sure is that it was surely a hit!
this afternoon we went to attend National Institute for Environmental Science Matsuri festival. This is one interesting booth. you get to pick the flowing soumen from the bamboo conveyor and it's an "eat -all-you- can-cold soumen!

i dnt know how the people here can think that we can make a power point presentation every wk!
good thing,a friend invited me for lunch.salad bar plus this...really yum! thanks a bunch,f!
yup, like you, OzDJ, you can call me a "chocoholic". i never run out of chocolate in my fridge. am presently into Meiji strawberry chocolate sticks(just 2) which i normally team up with chamomile tea.perfect for a rainy night.
and oh, there's the marshmallow crumble i made last night just to get rid of the not-so-good cereals i had.
Sendai, i think you have to consider coming over, i guess i finally perfected this marshmallow crumble!heheheh
