How many books can you read in your lifetime?
No, this is not at the Shakespeare & Co bookstore. This mountain of books — at least 10 feet tall and perhaps 15 feet in circumference — is in an exhibit room just at the entrance of L'École d'Architecture de Versailles, which we came upon by chance.
I wondered that, if I stacked up all the books that I have read so far, would they reach this high? Just how many books can a person read in one's lifetime?...
