When I visit you in the Philippines you may order a balut sa puti for you and this Quesong Puti for me.

I miss Cafe Bola and all those goodies. Did you have the cheesecake afterwards?

Eduardo, you're so funny! :-D
Nope, Tans, we didn't — we looked at the finalist entries of the Instituto Cervantes's photo competition (most of them looked so blah and cliché, I kept twitting RJ for not entering!) and had coffee afterwards.

Our own version of this adobo flakes (with tomatoes and blanched whole green pepper as garnishings and leche flan for dessert) was a big hit last Sunday at the festival. Masarap daw! :)

The one that you posted in your phlog, Jane? It looked so good nga that I had no doubt everyone would like the taste of it! With leche flan pa! Wagi!!!

Yup, yup... the leche flan was a last minute addition. We're looking for Pinoy fruit or Nata de Coco for dessert but they turned out to be too pricey for our budget. Popitz thought of leche flan and syemps best in second the motion ako kaya no choice si FotoG but to agree. What they have here is purin, almost similar to our leche flan but ours is yummier! ;)

That's because we use more yummy, artery-hardening, cholesterol-rich egg yolks! And we use moscovado (or dark brown sugar) for the caramel! Yummm!
