Once upon a time, a mango tree and an acacia tree must have
fought over this spot, this mound to grow on and now, they've
grown into each other that you could hardly tell them apart!

Moral of the story: If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

Eversince the Advent Season began, church bells everywhere
have been ringing from just before dawn for the Misa de Gallo
and at dusk for the daily evening masses. Must drive the bats bats!!!

The bigger-than-lifesize statue of St. James the Great in the courtyard of our parish church. The cockle-shell is his symbol and he is regarded as the first missionary among the original Apostles, hence the staff and pouch-bag.

Pleasantly surprised to find this graceful piece of sculpture
at the back of the Village association building overlooking
Maria Cristina Park.

Came home last night to find the trees along our main avenues
bedecked with colored lights in capiz balls! Christmas is really
in full swing now!
