Another print of the 1905 All Blacks team (same as my previous post) taken from the newspaper "The Sketch".

During the tour, the All Blacks lost only one game out of 32 (against Wales but this defeat remains controversial 100 years later... scoring 830 points for and only 39 against.

Team captain David Gallaher died in 1917 in France during WW1 (he was 43 and volunteered to join the NZ expeditionary corps...). I have found this link explaining he was still playing rugby at the army ...
