My niece is the cutest!

Lately, I've been allowing Amber to use my camera. She's got this fascination with taking pictures of the strangest things - the floor, the ceiling, random odd bits of stuff... Very arty farty pictures indeedy!

This is one of her self-portraits. Very nicely done, me thinks!

For my Aunt Connie's 61st birthday this year, we went to Prima Towers - this revolving restaurant with views of Sentosa and the PSA.

This is their signature dish. We have it everytime we're here. I don't know what it is but it's made of fluffy egg white beaten smooth, scallops, crab meat and when they serve it at your table, they bring along an egg yolk and pour it in.

You eat this with man tou (Chinese bread rolls). We had both fried and steamed ones.

I love tofu and if possible, I'd want to eat every meal with some form of tofu!

This is fried tofu - really crispy on the outside, with some slightly spicy marinate, and really soft and smooth on the inside... I can never ever achieve that effect when I fry tofu!

They will bring the entire roast duck to you on a plate and formally announce "Hello, this is your Peking Duck, we will now slice it up and wrap it before presenting it to you later".

We usually just stare and nod.

Then they go offside and start preparing it in front of everyone.

Yum!!

Ci'en, Shu and I met up at the Chinese Swimming Club for dinner last night. We ended up bowling 2 games. 'Twas hilarious and I had tons of fun even though I don't know how to bowl properly

I can't bowl to save my life, but I get lucky all the time and I do mean... ALL the time! My ball swerves in the most unbelievable manners...
