No more pushing
Sick of having to jump-start the various vehicles about the place I've invested in a smart battery charger. Here's hoping it can resurrect some of the batteries about the place.

-2 degrees!
Discovering that the iPhone camera is quite a bit inferior to the LG KU990, but that doesn't stop this from being a clear but crisp morning.

Open battery surgery...#1
The battery in the Hornet has died and it's the first target for the new charger. Some disassembly has been required to gain access to the battery.

Open battery surgery...#2
That hole is where the YTZ10S fits. It's exactly the right size for that particular battery and nothing else will fit. All I need to do now is install the remote charger connectors and put it all back together.

Garden comes to life: Jonquils
After a garden frying summer and a frosty dry winter it's good to see flowering bulbs popping up throughout the Garden. These things are brightening my day each morning.

Fog today...
I guess this will burn off by lunch time. It's a little warmer this morning about zero degrees.

With the LG KU990 in hand to take this photo it would make more sense, the iphones dismal effort fails to capture anything in low-light unfortunately.

Ready to Roast Roasts
Here's a question;
You want a roast dinner to carve yourself, you want it fast, do you:
A) Drive 20 minutes to the supermarket, buy a lump of meat return home and brown in pan before popping into an oven for say 25-30 minutes per 500g?
B) Drive 20 minutes to the supermarket, buy a lump of frozen pre-cooked meat return home and re-heat in an oven for about 45 minutes?
Sometimes I miss the point of these convenience foods? Sure for stuff with tricky or fiddly prep they have their place, but for something so basic? No wonder the world is getting fatter.
