Todays Post: Digital Caliper
Bought through eBay these are just as cheap and nasty as I expected, which is exactly as cheap and nasty as the $30-40 ones available in stores here. So paying $14.99 delivered is good enough for me!
These are the 150mm set, got a 300mm set coming as well.

Todays Post: Japanese Lessons needed...
Parts catalog for a Mazda 323 Astina/Lantis so I can cross reference between the Parts Books (also Japanese) that I have for Stinky.
Stinky (Ford Laser Lynx) is a under the skin twin of the 323/Astina and most parts can be interchanged.

Getting Busy
Have got Stinky up on stands so i can start fitting the big rear brake conversion. Now having air tools and a trolley jack things are going a little quicker.

Getting Busy: Progress!
One side is all bolted up and everything fits as intended. This is a small relief as the parts were machined up by my engineer some months ago.
What you're seeing is:
Red bit: Ford Laser Brake caliper
Black Bit: EBC Kevlar Brake Pads (2001+ Miata Sport)
Silver Bit: Mazda Miata 2001+ Sport Suspension caliper bracket
Rusty Rotor: 2006 Mazda6
Hub that the rotor is sitting on: Mazda Lantis Hub
There's some minor tweaks done to a few of these parts but fundamentally I've just added significant braking performance for very little cash.
