Birkin: Hydraulics #1
The individual Master Cylinders (front and rear brake & clutch) are gettign their fluid feed from the reservoir recovered from the Ford Focus donor car. This means there's only a single correctly marked fill point and the fuild level warning sensor will work correctly.

Birkin: Tailights again..
We've now added the obligatory reflectors below the tailights. They're a simple stick-on and are a requirement for certification of the vehicle. They don't look as bad as we'd feared.

Birkin: Front Indicator #1
The first mounting location was knocked back by the certifying engineer, it was obscured by the nose-cone so now the lights are being mounted on new brackets on the front mudguards.
The lights themselves are LED and designed for use on custom motorcycles.

Birkin: Side Indicator
Mounted low and forward on the scuttle panel these are high intensity LED truck/trailer clearance lights. They were the best combo of appearance and ease-of-fitment Bryn could find.
The highly polished alloy "tub" is also quite obvious thanks to the reflection of the sheds other vehicular resident.

Birkin: Instrument Lights
Another step forward with the High Intensity scatter type LED bulds installed in all the smaller gauges. The Speedometer and the Tachometer still use coloured incandescent bulbs to allow better dimming control.

Birkin: Needing a Nose Job
The car has come along leaps and bounds since I've worked on it last. With the front end virtually complete and the final touches to the chassis wiring needing to be done.
The radiator now hides a 10" cooling fan, the battery location has been sorted out and a battery has been purchased.

Birkin: We have a nosecone!
For the sake of art here's the front end with the nosecone placed in it's final location. There's still a reasonable body of work before this gets to be bolted into place permanently.
