Cottage Pie: Components
While it could be a Shepards Pie it isn't becuase we're using Beef. As informed by Gordon Ramsay in Season 2 of "F Word" Shepards Pies are lamb - anythign else is a Cottage Pie.

Cottage Pie: Filling the Pie Dish

Cottage Pie: Potato in Place
Rather than just slabbing on the mashed spud I've piped it on. It's a little interesting to get the hang of piping hot mash but my efforts are a passble first go.

Cottage Pie: Done
20 minutes in a hot oven has caused a bit of bubbling over on the outer edges but it's a learnign experience.
The cheese and mash have browned off nicely, making the whole lot look fantastic.

Cottage Pie: Served
An army of peas (and two escapeas) joins the rather inelegant plating effort.
However the pie has great flavour and texture and overall I think I'll be doing this again.

Back on Two Wheels
Riding to work today after a week in the car. I suspect I'll be driving at least once or twice more as I empty my desk and ferry stuff home.
Ulinke the last job I left (April 2006) I won't have 9 years of memorabilia and files to take with me - just a small carton will do the trick.

BBP Motorcycle parking
Just about all the riders on the business park are forced to use the large parking area next to Avion Cafe. The downside is the walk past a reasonably average coffee purveyor each morning and evening (although they're usually closed when I leave)

Wet and Miserable
Not riding weather today so it's back in the MX5 for the 22km journey to work.
