Heading in here to catch up with one of my staff from my old workplace.

Currently enjoying a breakfast panini (ham, egg, English spinach, mustard) and a wicked hot chocolate.

The hot chocolate (choice of milk, dark or hazelnut) is served as a small jug of steamed milk with 60ml of molten chocolate and an empty cup for DIY action.

The range of cakes (all made with Lindt chocolate, of course) and boxed/wrapped chocolates on display is staggering.

This place is tucked away in the Strand Arcade. Has a really hip feel and the staff are friendly and attentive. They serve Campos coffee and the barristas really know their stuff. ALWAYS an awesome coffee from Elixir.

Not sure how I managed to take this pic, but it shows both the basement level (food market) of David Jones, Market Street as well as a snippet of the ground floor (menswear).

Purchased 1.3kg of Allens Snakes Alive for some important research. As a fan of the orange and yellow ones, I have the idea that they scrimp on these colours in favour of the red, green and blue ones. There's only one way to find out for sure and it's time to start counting.

UPDATE: Analysis completed. Each snake weights between 8.9 and 9.4 grams. By colour, this is the breakup of the 1.310kg
