Last fill was at 001830. Therefore, it's 51.02 litres for 538 kilometres, or 9.48L/100km- WELL SHORT of the 7.7L/100km claimed by Volkswagen.

But then, that's no surprise considering that 90% of our driving is done at peak hour in 40-60km/h (urban) zones. The twice-daily blast along the M4 motorway (90km/h) helps, but I still can't get under 8L/100km during the working week.

I'm going to make a real effort to curb my quick launches and see if I can at least pick up another 10% improvement.
