There are still some jeepneys — I mean the ones that
are personally owned versus hired-out to drivers by
time shifts — which fully illustrate and express the
individuality and personal idiosyncracies of its owners.
I find them so much more interesting and colorful in
a folk art kind of way. Like this one in Biñan, Laguna.
It's like a mobile "phlog" in its own low-tech way. :-)

Every time I come to this area, I am drawn to this house.
I don't know why but it feels eerie to me. Like it's haunted.

sweetsop in English — can be tedious to eat because
it's got a lot of seeds but it's one's well-coordinated
manipulations of tongue and teeth to remove the sweet
fleshy pulp from the seeds that makes the atis both
a joy and a challenge to eat!

Zany little Daryll Zayco is NOT psycho! She's just a very
expressive and individualistic young teener who twinkles
with joy and sprinkles the fairydust of fun on everyone
she meets!

It was a hot humid Sunday, with the sun beating down
hard in the middle of the day! It's no wonder young
Daryll and her fairy-wings are starting to wilt from the
heat! No wonder, too, that their refreshing and healthy
salads, accompanied by the Zaycos' own specially
concocted salad dressings, were sold out by midmorning!
