It was almost 7 pm. A plane was landing at São Paulo airport and was not able to stop. It crossed a crowded avenue and hit an office building of the same air company. 200 people died. I took this photo a few milimiters from the pc screen. We were all still shocked, we didn't know what really had happened or why.

The morning sky was blue. I had to go to the dentist and on my way I saw again this statue at the entrance of the city main park. When I left the dentist and went there for a walk.

This statue is dedicated to the groups of explorers that left São Paulo during the XVII century to conquer new territories. Those were very hard expeditions and the search for gold and precious stones were the main reason for the adventure.

When I came back form the dentist, the living room was still a mess, "organized" for the morning reading of newspapers and magazines.
