It has been a while since I stopped on updating my Phlog. Maybe because the unwanted "spam comments" keeps me so damn frustrated and since it is so mentally exhausting to delete the comments. These unwanted entities have done so much damage to my account. I just hope to God that I can have all the guts to excrutiatingly remove them one by one. Good thing I got Mozilla Firefox and I can just multi tab the comments and delete them, but it'll still be a pain in the ass.

I'll try to go back to Phlog. Hopefully this small step can updates all my blogs that I haven't touched in a while.


Here's a pic of mine taken by my sis. I let myself direct how she will take the shot and I set my digicam to it's manual setting. I think it was around shutter speed of 1/120 and an apeture of f2.0 shot in a dark and cloudy time of 5:40 pm. (I just love it when I'm so detailed with things!) Taken at the back of SM Mall of Asia last July 31, 2005.

Happy birthday to my hair since I haven't got it cut for a year now.

And last thing. I got exempted in my accounting 3 and strategic management. I got a sure bet whopping 4.0 grade for those. 3 more subjects to go and hopefully I can have the Dean's List for the 2nd row.

After a year and 3 months of being with this network, sharing the evolution of my love and passion for photography and any form of art. I've come to a point that I need to shut this site down. Reasons are the following:

1) I am studying and at the same time working. I need to work now to fulfill my dream. To have 2 DSLRs and a film camera. Maybe 10 years from now I'll get a medium format camera. I wanna have a my photography studio someday too.

2) Learning certain stuff can really be hard and so time consuming. I need to focus on a lot of things and have to scarifice one. Phlog is one of them

3) I just can't cope up with my lifestyle right now. It has come to a point where I became too moody, and I snapped when I saw my account having spam comments on almost every pic I got. And my patience just wore down with me that day.

This maybe a hiatus or an indefinite leave. Or maybe I may really need to let go of this one. I will definitely add links where you guys can cope up with my works and how I do so far. My blogs and my Deviant art will still be up and running for sure. To all my friends who had joined me for a year and 3 months. I really thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have somehow, opened my senses into a new realm where I never imagined I will be. You have given me inspiration to wake up and see the world in a viewfinder, always letting my imagination flow with every stroke of actions people made.

I bid farewll and I'll see you... hopefully... somewhere, somehow.

I just got hooked into this kinda drawing effect in Photoshop CS2. You just use the charcoal & chalk filter and mix it with either a photocopy or graphi pen filter or do the same filter all over again to the get the results you want, and.... walah! A nice edited pic which looks like it was drawn. Cool...

This is my friend KJ. I asked her for a pic that I can play around in Photoshop so it came out liked this. Good thing she liked it. Hope you guys too! Have a superb weekend everyone!

I made this last night. The first one I made that night (I made 4 photo editing). The first one was shown below. It's been months since I haven't got any Photoshop CS2 practice. I really need to learn more about this stuff.

I'm just too excited for everything. Photoshop CS2 Madness, Photography at work, a friend of mine helping me in planning my mini-studio. Woohoo! Too excited for everything!

I got this a couple of weeks back. I bought it in greenhills for 160 pesos (around $2.50-$3) My favorite bag so far.

Apologize to all but this will be a long one. For the sake of sorta making up with my phlog account.

After, so far and hopefully the last, longest hiatus I went from blogging, phologging, I'm back. A lot of things happened. First, I didn't realized not until yesterday that:

1) My phlog turns 1 last March 17th. It was funny remembering how many photos I tooked using different cameras I used to borrow way back when I was in California, till I got my own. The first sign that I will be forever be changed, be a different person who will have a deeper, more contemplative thoughts about life. More sensibility than before. My love for photography was born.

2) I already had more than 6,000+ of photos. I just wish, that up to this time, my photography skills, even without any research done, had improved. I would like to thank my family and GOD for supporting me on this. And to all of my Phlog buddies who never stopped to be somehow, amazed, appreciate my works.

3) I already had made 8 blogs from 4 different providers. Blogging also turns to 1.

4) I already had 21 books (8 volumes of Pugad Baboy and 1 from Carlos Vergaras' "Ang Kagilagilalas na pakikipagsapalaran ni Zsa Zsa Zathuran - comics) For now, I'm going crazy to Bata bata... Pano ka ginawa by Lualhati Bautista.

5) Since october, I haven't touched my Photoshop CS2. I'm still stucked my basic filtering effects. My poems, articles and some drafts are not also touched for a while. Maybe I need to breather for now. Or maybe just need to do things 1 thing at a time. I ain't no dual core processor.

6) I have a deviant art account! I tried to check it out and see peoples work. I got jealous on how damn good they do graphic designs and photo edit! Grrrrr.... I really wanna learn!

7) That I made it to the 3rd honors Dean's List! Definitely a shocking one for me. I thought I just got a 2.8 GPA but I got a flat out 3.0! Boom!

For now I will add more photo albums and put tags in my uploads.

Thank you for hanging on with me this past year. Now I turn 1, I just wish you guys will stick around. You guys had been a big help, in one way or another, to see where should I really be. Thanks for the tips, the comments of "I like this one!" or "ganda!" and the simple "hi!". I would like to give a really big thanks to my first friends here in phlog: Leica, Sendai, housefinder, greyweed (paramdam ka!) and uptowngirl! Thanks guys! and now let me shout: Gusto ko nang maging artist! Aw!

if you had a chance to take a peek at my blog, my wallet was stolen while riding the MRT on the way to school yesterday. it really pissed me off until now since I didn't make it to class today. oh well, shit really happens. here's something to chill me out.
