Post Office in Jogyakarta (Central Java).. an hour away by plane from Jakarta. I spent Indonesia's 58th Independence day in this city.

Pulau Onrust. During the old days, Indonesians who go to mecca has to be quarantined here for a week or so before going back to their homes. This used to be also a leprosy island during the Dutch invasion.

This is the boat that took us to the island.. i feel like being part of the 2003 version of the boat people! Nevertheless, it was tons of fun! We're a bunch of professionals, students, historians...

I'm just happy... happy to be free from the corporate world. Travelling is the single most enjoyable activity that I really treasure.

This was taken a few months back on my way to an archeological/historical trip to Pulau Onrust (Onrust Island)in Pulau Seribu (1,000 Island) near Jakarta.
