Wondering why I like to "Frog Spot"? Ever since my youth in Canada, my three sisters have been inundating me with frogenalia. It all started with my French immersion teacher who tried to explain to me that learning French was indeed a good thing and not to worry about those anglofiles who shun French culture.

We'll she was right in all of her wisdom. The moral of the story, keep your eyes and ears open. There are potential surprises around every corner. You never know when you'll spot your next frog.

So from here forward, until you and I get board with this. I will be recording those surprises with my Nokia 9500 and sending them over the air to this site. This way you can "catch up" with me, even if we can't talk in real time.

I'm based in Helsinki right now but travel a fair bit, so hopefully the scenery will change from my living room to further afield.
