Heptathlon was a real thriller all the way to the end! Our forecasting result service worked fine and we got positive feedback as well, thanks. I guess the biggest hurdle is to spread the word about the service. Luckily we got a news on the Helsinki 2005 pages on Sunday. User amounts are rising nicely: on Friday 287 users, on Saturday 447 and on Sunday 1740 users. Hopefully this curve will continue to rise.
This picture is interesting as I took it from the media stand some 100m away with a camera phone (Nokia 6630). Well I cheated a bit since I took the picture through binoculars! The phone has only digital zoom and it wouldn't even reach that far.

Heptathlon has been very tight. Now Klüft has the advantage but anything can still happen.
Watching tv and waiting for the show to begin.
Flags on the field. Heptathlon is very tight.
We are ready. Nice place to update results. We are not in the finish line but 30m further. First media seats there and second row before the photographers.
Standing on a queu to get through the security check. Let's have good games!
These should be the seats were we will sit and follow combined events =) Best seats in the house. If you follow the games only via the forecasting result service and TV you may be able to spot us from TV. We will be the ones with Helsinki 2005 clothes and laptops ;) Should not be too hard to find.
Today we started to spread the word about the service. Our service was mentioned in the national radio channel today thanks to Pekka who sent feedback to the show. They were talking about how difficult it is to follow combined events. Let's see how many users we will get.
Sun shines on the route to Helsinki. We opened the forecasting result service today. Lots of information and cool stuff there! Hope you'll enjoy.
Possibility to use RSS is of course my personal favorite feature.
And the new look of the old olympic stadium.
