Though technically, this is not a star. It's the planet Venus, the third brightest object in the sky after the Sun and the Moon, in it's brilliance!I took this shot last Nov. 1, using only the optical zoom of my digicam in night mode setting. I am amazed at my digicam's features as it let's me do basic astrophotography shots without using a telescope! Btw, the bright light coming from below is from a street lamp at the back of my dorm.
After having a bout of insomnia yesterday, I cooked this breakfast before I went to sleep. This is the first real breakfast I had since arriving here in Tsukuba. Real, by definition, is something that I cooked instead of heated or bought in a store.
This was taken using the coupling shot feature of my camera. No PC digital processing software was used to create this shot. It's all in the camera! Cool ain't it?
