Go on... you know you want to.
You'll be calling iPhone 3G handset #6 at the Apple Store, Sydney. Have a chat to a random punter who might be nearby, or perhaps send a TXT message. The replies are kind of funny.

I would but not keen on my number ending up on one of those phones...
However the text would be "I'd send an MMS but the phone is too lame for it"

@ausmicro - yeah, fair call. I'm not too precious about my mobile number. Some of the SMS replies have been pretty funny. Latest one: "Hello. who is this? how did you do that. hahaha. funny c*nt" (sub the * for a popular vowel)

The first time I was at the local AT&T they had 3 live phones hooked to the wall. You could play with them, make calls, text, whatever. Second time, a couple of days later, they had three "demo phones" that appeared to be real phones but they ran a script and didn't respond to any input. I'm guessing for exactly this reason. So I never got to mess with them. But I may text this number. Why? Because I can. ;-)
