The length and breadth of Carriedo Street in Quiapo used to be filled up with stalls upon stalls of cheap goods, most preferred of which are called "ukay-ukay", where one can buy used clothes, accessories, toys, household utensils and tools, and anything else you can think of at the cheapest, bargainable prices. These stalls are all gone now, dismantled by the current Mayor of Manila "The Punisher" Lim. I prefer he concentrated more on punishing wayward cops, law-flouting jeepney drivers, and muggers instead.
