I will tell RJ how much you miss him. He doesn't go online now or take photographs as often as before. I've been trying to persuade him to do a "two for the road" with me to New York this year but so far I've failed.

I loved Manhattan, and the Staten Island Ferry. I spent so many hours trekking around the deserted business district late at night, or on the ferry riding from one port to the other.

I loved being in the terminals. I did a lot of photography in them. I liked the astonishing emptiness of them seconds after a boat would pull away. So silent.

This is a nice shot...it surprised me because I was holding the camera by hand, and the boat was underway.

I expected nothing but blurs. This was a sweet surprise. Glad you all liked it. Thanks for the kind words,
