Turistas na Catedral / Tourists
This couple asked me to take a pic of them, because they wanted to have a souvenir of their visit. I told them I was not a professional photographer, I was just a tourist like them, but they seemed not to care about that. After I took the pic they gave me their address and asked me how much it would cost. How much should I pay them for giving me the pleasure (honor?) of portraiting such decent, nice, lovely people?

They asked me to take their pic with the Virgin, Our Lady of Aparecida (patroness of Brazil), who must be their saint of devotion. I'm not religious, but I'm sure there's someone (or something) protecting poor people like them.

I'm not religious, but I always see pic in detail and I know how much religion is important for these people. This pic with Jesus in them direction, I think it's a sign. Got bless them, no ?

They're blessed, indeed: seem to be decent people (which is getting quite unusual these days), were very kind and have an innocence that I thought to be privilege of children. They said "thank you, may God provide you twice everything you need" and they meant it. I like to meet people like them. I like their serenity when they posed for this pic. I hope they will like the photo.

Es tan inocente la actitud que conmueve.

Também me lembro de ter visto fotos similares, e sempre quis fazer algo assim. O sertanejo é de... Minas Gerais!
