Danke, Harald! This is my favorite time of the day: sun rising, fresh air, shy colors in the sky, a hope that "everything is gonna be allright".

Essa imagem transmite muita paz...às vezes uma pessoa procura sua paz interior e não consegue por motivos múltiplos. Eu gostaria muito de ter a minha paz também, Eduardo..."Everything is gonna be allright". Espero que também valha pra mim...bom dia...

Se o sol nasce pra todos, todo dia, por que a paz não nasceria? (rimou sem querer...). Sem querer, também, isso me lembra a canção: "paz sem voz não é paz, é medo". Acho que isso quer dizer que a paz (seja ela qual for, a interior ou a do Oriente Médio) tem que ser construída. Ela não é o vazio de conflito nem a falta de antagonistas, mas o gerenciamento diário, contínuo, dessas tensões. Já ouviu alguma vez aquela metáfora da bicicleta? Se vc parar, vc cai; o que te mantém em equilíbrio não é a imobilidade, mas o próprio movimento. (Melhor parar por aqui, ou acabo descobrindo minha vocação para blablablá de auto-ajuda...rs). Também ando precisando de paz (quem não?).

I am always in awe of people who are able to get up so very early in the morning! Although sunset is my favorite time of day, I too love the just-before sunrise time in the rare times I'm up - the wee hours of when night is just giving in to the warmth and radiance of a new day and the air feels so clean and fresh and full of joyful anticipation! You are so blessed to have such a beautiful view to wake up to each day! And that poem excerpt is very appropriate to your lovely photo.

Jigs: Sunsets make me think that one more day is gone, and it's a thought that sometimes makes me feel down. In the other hand, I love to wake up early, even before sun rises, it's like to be born again. The lyrics I used belong to a great & old song, "Song of the happy morning" ("enlightened morning / why so much light? / gimme a little bit of sky / but not so much blue /.../ I opened my window / and the sun entered / in my sad life / life without desire / then such feast, such emotion / enlightened morning / so much light, so much blue / it too much for my heart")

Sunrises are always cool, sunsets are usually hot, Danielle. Maybe that's why I prefer dawn, early hours, the cold wind of the mornings, shy blue skies, only me, my dogs and the guy who delivers newspapers walking in the empty streets.
