Valley Forge Housing
Rolling through the hilly path, these huts were creatively placed to appear as a subdivision. The noncommissioned soldiers were housed twelve to a hut. The Soldiers Huts held the following dimensions, fourteen by sixteen each side. The roofs were made tight with split slabs and the sides held tight with clay. Fireplaces were made of wood and secured with clay on the inside and eighteen inches thick.
