We were on the bridge overlooking this spot. There's a viewing deck nearer the train tunnel and a walking trail down the gorge but we didn't have time to go down as the sun was already low when we arrived and sunset is around 4-ish. The passing train was a bonus!

This shot is definitely worth the frozen fingers and numbing cold!!! It's beeeeeyoooooootiful, Jane!!! The colors, the composition, the action — all perfectly balanced and brilliant!!!

Thanks Tanya and Jigs. The actual view is really spectacular, no wonder there're bus loads of tourists and the traffic leading to it was a crawl. Ang lamig nga lang, mahangin kasi!

O wow!! I love the vibrant colours of Autumn. They are always so beautiful to look at, and the smell too. I love Spring like wise.
Guess tis is your lucky day to have the train pik-a-boo you too. Great shot Ate!

Hi Simon! Nice, as you enjoy your spring flowers i'm also having fun with autumn leaves. Not too eager though for winter. Yay!

Good thing Paul noticed my dubious camera settings before coming here or else you would be now seeing some very unique blue-ish autumn leaves. Harhar!
Notice the train? :)
While we were taking shots of the gorge, a man who was eating his obento told me that a train will pass by at 15:43. It was only 3 minutes before the schedule so we really got excited and posted on our respective spots aiming at the train tunnel. Three minutes later, no train in sight and our fingers started to get numb with the cold. The man said it could be 10 minutes late but why we didn't ask, he's using a Leica so we believed him. And the train did came out as if on cameo a few minutes later. Burst mode! This is my very calendar-ish attempt. :)
