After days of non-stop morning-to-midnight
downpours, it feels wonderful to come out into
the cleansed fresh air and enjoy the blue skies
dotted with swirling white clouds!

The air must be perfumed with the smell of wet grass and the absence of smog - if just for a moment. Nice picture!

We can almost breath the fresh air.

Yes, clean, fresh, smog-free air!!! A very refreshing change of pace that I had hoped would last long ... but it's raining again! Why does it always rain during the All Souls Day holidays, I wonder?

Lovely, looks refreshing.

I forgot who told me when i was a kid that it rains on All Souls Day to camouflage the pouring souls from heaven out on earth to visit their loved ones. Hmmm...

Domo, Jane. I heard about the rain likened to souls visiting their living loved ones ... maybe they want to check if the loved ones have done their duty cleaning and sprucing up and visiting their gravesites? ... but why "camouflage" their visit? I bet it would give everyone a thrill if their ghosts appeared and joined in the picnic! ;-)
Go ahead... Dish!
