In the MRT train, you can meet many inconsiderate Singaporean. In this moderately crowded train, this guy chose to lean on the hand pole while reading his paper. He was oblivious. When we told him nicely to not lean on the pole, he started hurling abuses at us and told us that we should stand elsewhere and it was his birth right to lean on pole (hmm ... perhaps pole dancing was a profession that ran in his family). He even physically pushed us in front of a horrified but silent audience. Singaporeans just watch. Not even the two MRT staff could make him come to his senses. We, of course, returned his inconsiderate remarks with equally demeaning comments. I can't let this pass without my right to say my words.
