Oui, c'est un sorbet. Sorbet de chaux, en fait. Très refreshing! And the foodsieseses were not hot at all, not even the grilled sesame-seeded prawns with that creamy sauce nor the asperges in aspic.
I didn't care if I was unluxuriously dressed compared to
the bejewelled haute-couture-attired guests because the
food and wines were all divine! And, best of all, free!!!
