Oh there's no Halloween decor at our gate! I refuse to succumb and be a victim of this over-commercialized event. ;-)

Sorry to be off topic, but can you tell me what happened to Harry? He's gone. I feel so strange about it. Do you know anything?

I wondered about that, too, Ann. It is a mystery. I asked Jiggs about it that time when Hurricane Rita was descending on Texas to ask after her safety as well as Harry's and his daughters. She said she called them up and they're all fine but I didn't get to learn why and how Harry's phlog just disappeared. You can email Jiggs via her phlog site to find out or you could go to Harry's daughter Dr. Susan's phlog and ask her, although she hasn't posted anything since August.

Got me thinking, too. I thought he'll just have his phlog password-protected but eventually looks like he deleted his files. Hope he's just hibernating from phlog and will post again soon.

Hey dear Jigs! Thanks for the lovely comment at my place. I love Neruda. It's pouring rain here today, and cold. I might just take to my bed with a book of his poetry.

I was thinking about asking Jiggs re Harry. It's so mysterious. I can understand abandoning a site (I fell by the wayside myself) but taking all the work down.... It leaves a gap that can't be filled.

I suspect he was/is a very nice man, and it's a real loss to us here. I had checked at Dr. Susan's, almost first thing, and also nessmunky. She hasn't posted in 9 months.

I like what was done up here. I have some links up. A couple are wonderful photo links. "Satan's Laundromat" is superb. It's out of New York. A brilliant photographer.

"World Through My Eyes" is another. This man is a friend I met through my blog. His stuff is gorgeous.
