I think Coco is dreaming of the day she will be the one and only dog in the house again.

Well, if she did, she got her wish. But actually, when the puppy fell ill, Coco became remarkably solicitous and gentle with him... until the end.

oh my..i think Coco never meant it that way. id love this series, jigs..but i felt bad that the puppy has to go to heaven...

Yes, Simon, sad to say but little Papillon, as he was eventually called, is gone. On Coco's birthday at that. :-( I felt like a schizo, crying one moment on finding the puppy had died and singing "happy birthday" to Coco the next. My friend whose family bred the Jack Russell terriers were worried when they learned of the death. It seems another of the litter had died too. So now they're having all the dogs checked thoroughly by the vet to make sure that all are safe and that there's no epidemic or something.

SUCH A SAD STORY JIGS, but as we all know death is part of "life" ! Thanks for sharing !
