I had some bits and pieces to sort out today so spent Sunday indoors. After messing round with e-mails etc. I decided to tinker with my phlog. CSS files are new to me, but they look like powerful ways of improving web pages. The browser on my home PC (called Big Dell) is Firefox - a great open source freeware program. It's fast, secure and (best of all) FREE. I've used it for about 4months and really like it. There's a CSS editing add-in for Firefox (free again) and this picture is Big Dell's monitor "mid edit".

Great tip, thanks. I do my CSS manually and I must admit it can give me a headache at times. Alan has done a marvellous job with phlog ... I'm still getting used to the new look.

The ability to change parameters and see the effect on the HTML immediately is a big help for me; it's useful (when you don't know anything about CSS) to tweak a setting and see the effect. Once finished, it's simply a matter of cutting the code from the CSS editing sidebar and pasting in into phlog's CSS maintenance page.

I'm a big fan of Firefox - compact, fast and FREE!

has the extension got a specific name? :)

It's called (rather imaginatively) Edit CSS and I'm using v 0.3.1. If you go to the Firefox website and look at the extensions, you should find it easily.
C'mon. Say something!
