My boyfriend got to shoot his new shotgun for the first time. I tried it as well, and I'm already bruising on my shoulder because that thing can kick back like you wouldn't believe. He's ex-military so he knew what he was doing. He was a good teacher too.

It was mandatory to have hearing protection. You can't see them, but we had to wear little foam earplugs.
