FW: Other signs of a new plane
phlog photo

The photo was taken hurredly with my E71 so you can't see much. The aluminium trim on corner of the wall in front fell off when the guy boarding in front of me brushed against it with his oversized carryon (he deserved the clonk on his noggin). You can't see, but there's a maintenance guy on his knees trying to put it back on before the rest of the passengers load up.

The soft plastic seal on some of the luggage bins is loose too. I hope these aren't signs of a rushed "Friday afternoon" build!

Hey FAM, the photo quality of your E71 is very much better than the Treo. I am drolling...

Nice to know that you are back to active phlogging with so much interesting travel tales. Thanks for sharing.

I've been lethargic for many months on the "Walk Down Memory Lane" phlog and have just posted some new phlogs of old stuff I digged up from the old photo albums and spent several hours scanning the photos.

Moving backwards is a whole lot tougher :)

Cheers and have a great weekend!

Hi Thim

Good to hear from you again. Your "Walk Down Memory Lane" series are great, especially for an angmoh who can get a glimpse of life here in Singapore in the 80's.

The E71 is wonderful after the Dopod. It's light, well constructed and stable (I was getting fed up with Windows Mobile). To be honest, I'd go back to the Treo running Palm if they did a 3G version that could be used in Korea and Japan. May be in 2 years time when I persuade S.O to let me change.

All the best

FAM
C'mon. Say something!
