I've lived here 7 months and every day I love this place more and more. It's wonderful to have the sea 4 blocks from home. Even though now it's a bit chilly we can still enjoy the beach on sunny days. For now, Autumn is pretty mild.

A couple of days ago, early in the afternoon, I walked over to the beach to take a little walk. As I was getting there I was rendered speachless when I looked at the sky. The clouds were arranged so beautifully!
I had to race back home and take a picture of it. Here it is.
Unfortunately the picture can barely transmit the beauty of the scene.

I love this place!!!!!

If there is something I like, it's watching the waves splash against the
rocks... just like in this pic.

Even though this is not a tropical place we still have some palm trees under
one of which I stood to take this pic.

Here you can see part of the Casino building from Colón Square (Columbus
Sq.) with its countless flower beds.

This beautiful landmark is called Torreón del Monje (Monk's Tower) and has a
beautiful arabic restaurant inside and a great bar on a terrace overlooking the sea.
It's a very popular spot on Sunday afternoons.

This is Droop, the sweetest doggie in all the world!!

Here I stand at a walkway where \"the boys\" like to cruise. A beautiful restaurant stands behind me. The day was beautiful and the weather glorious. I always think how wonderful it would be that you guys visit me here...
