Looking down Nob Hill

Our last day in SF before heading to Santa Cruz. We went for lunch in Nob Hill. We ate at a cozy little restaurant called the Nook. They had great sandwiches, and an interesting wine list. Would have been great to have been there in the evening for drinks. The cable cars kept going by, which was a nice touch.

Where we are staying

This is our last day I'm SF. This afternoon we head down to Santa Cruz, where we will stay for a bit with Joes brother.

Yesterday we did some more exploring, going out to the botanical gardens in Golden Gate park. It was nice, but very windy. The weather is getting chillier so we may have picked the right time to stay in the city.

For dinner, we met up with an old colleague of Joe's and went to a Vietnamese restaurant. We had garlic noodles which were great. We then went to Mitchel's, an institution in SF. They have really good ice cream. We then drove around and went down Lombard St, the "crookedist street in the world". Because it was night, I didn't take pics.

Driving around, we got some great views of the city from various hills.
