We got to Araneta about two hours before the show. We were afraid the revolt outside would slow us down. It didn't. We were among the first who got inside.

Alan and I are rabid wrestling fans, both taking after our Dad. I'd like to think he was watching with us that night.

With a bang! Araneta was packed, and around 15000 strong were on their feet, screaming!

They're not really that popular, but the energy that night was amazing! This first match seemed like it would be the greatest moment ever! Plus Eugene came out in a Team Pacquiao jacket which whipped the crowd into a frenzy!

In person, the wrestlers seemed like they were playing and goofing around. In hindsight, so was everyone else in that arena.

The second match was pretty sweet. I couldn't believe I was seeing these people live.

These guys were pounding themselves to the ground. But I was feeling great! The excitement!!! I was a kid again!!!!!
