behold… da Airwash!

behold… da Airwash!

2 students from Singapore invented a waterless washing machine

for someone who's havin' fun tryin' to help damage English… I must say dat I'm a bit perplexed & amused on da chosen English words to describe & name da invention… how can you wash without water?

by description, it's a home/portable "dry cleaner"… but, dat doesn't sound original…

da roundabout broken English description & name sounds better… don't you agree?

does anyone know all of da silent consonants in da English language?

12-3-5 update:
what is da purpose for silent consonants (and vowels)?
personally, I think dey're a waste of time. methinxz dat dey're used to make da words look more foreign dan dey really sound… it's like makin' an English word look like it's French or somethin'…
but… many thanxz to cell phones & SMS (text messagin'), people, who use SMS shorthand, tend to exclude dem silent consonants (and vowels) due to da character limit per message set by deir cell service provider… da purpose of SMS shorthand is to be able to quickly send as much info as you can per message…
